  • The 2009 Institute will be held on the campus of the University of Puget Sound, located at 1500 North Warner in Tacoma, Washington, approximately 30 miles south of Seattle and 15 miles north of Olympia. On the campus, tudor-gothic buildings of ivy-covered brick blend harmoniously with 97 acres of native fir groves, emerald green lawns, and lush landscaping. Institute participants will be housed in Trimble Hall, the newest residence hall, completed in August of 2002. Within easy walking distance of Trimble Hall, you will find t! he center of campus life, the bustling and pleasant Wheelock Student C enter, home to the bookstore, a great variety of food choices, Diversions CafĂ© (espresso bar) and the newly renovated dining area.
