The purpose of the Conference is to provide a forum for Bridge Maintenance Crews to share information, innovations, creative ideas, and tricks of the trade.

Topics include Maintenance Procedures, Standards and Safety, Emergency Response, Prioritizing Maintenance Repairs, Deck Joint Repair, New Repair Methods and Materials, and Environmental Constraints.

Goals of the 2008 Pacific Northwest Bridge Maintenance Conference

• Provide a forum to share cradle-to-grave bridge maintenance information, innovations, ideas, and best practices.


• Provide a means for bridge maintenance personnel to obtain training and a better understanding of bridge maintenance / repair techniques


• Foster the development of leadership skills
