Why attend?

  • The Northwest Power and Conservation Council’s 6th Power Plan draft, due out in July, is expected to include a regional distribution level conservation target of 400+ aMW. The Council estimates most distribution efficiency can be achieved under 30 mills/kWh. The information provided in the Workshops will help prepare utility staff to contribute to that conservation target.
  • Participation in the Workshop will better prepare public utilities with BPA conservation agreements to submit qualifying projects (designed to reduce line losses) to BPA for financial incentives.
