Compassionate Schools - Moving from Trauma to Resilience

Summit Overview

Building on current research and compelling evidence, The Compassionate Schools Summit – Moving from Trauma to Resilience will provide in-depth opportunities for school/community teams to develop plans to support pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade students impacted by social/emotional barriers to learning. The Summit will provide active opportunities for teams to plan specific strategies to environment that promotes increased academic achievement.

Recommended Team Members

For maximum benefits, it is recommended that school/community teams identified at the local level attend this Summit. Teams may consist of up to 10 members and include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Superintendent, Principal, or Designee as team lead (required)

  • Counselors, Teachers, and other School Staff

  • Local Health and Social Service Providers

  • Parents/Students

  • Local Court Personnel

  • Early Learning and Out-of-School Providers

  • Other Interested Stakeholders


Registration Fee:

$50.00 Per person as part of team
$75.00 Individual registrants
